Mike Gatto (CA) And The First Amendment

Here’s one last video for this morning.

The story, by Globalist News, shows cronies for California’s Mike Gatto expelling press from a public townhall meeting in a public library. Gatto is on California’s Assembly. What’s the big deal? Well, this little thing we call the First Amendment protects the press the right to operate.

Congress shall make no law…abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press…

Citizen, be weary of any elected official who places his demands over the law.

*Warning – there is one expletive near the end of the clip*

The difficulty with your report here is that none of it is true.

Mursurlian is not a “journalist”. He insists that nobody pays him to stalk Gatto. In point of fact, no news business has ever paid him to collect a story. Ever.

The library where this happened requires that all cameras and recording get prior approval. It is a rule, not a secret. Mursurlian did not get permission and was ejected on that basis.

A professionally written news story on the matter is here:

You must be referring to the video, because I offered no report. I posted a video of a report by someone else with a brief comment. Everything contained in my comments is fact.

I made two points. 1. Gatto’s men had the camera man expelled. This is fact, watch the video. 2. The First Amendment gives the right to a free press.

Yes, turdbrain, except that he is not “Press.”

If I call myself “Press,” do I have the right to film you (or any government official) in the bathroom?

This is simple. Musurlian is a creep with a camera and an axe to grind. I normally like your stories, but you really ought not to buy into hoaxes like this.
